Dear Parents and Carers, Staff and Students
A huge congratulations to Mr Andrew Kovari and the entire Snowsports community on winning their tenth consecutive Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships. Andrew and his team have built one of the most impressive championship cultures in Australian school sport. Well done!
This weekend saw our Athletics team compete at the AAGPS Athletics Championships at SOPAC. The team once again improved from previous years as a result of a year-round training program and a commitment to working hard as a team. We saw a number of impressive individual performances throughout the day. The Open boys team should be commended on an outstanding second overall placing. Special thanks to Mr Phil Cooney and Mr Val Zele for their organisation and support. Also, a huge thank you to the entire College community for their support on the day.
We now officially move into the Summer Sport season where we will see key initiatives implemented. This includes improvements in the way we communicate with the community via Schoolbox, which was launched to Senior School parents earlier this week. A huge thank you to the Schoolbox team for their assistance with getting this up and running.
Next week will see our third round of Mind Body Heart testing this year. This Program has been a huge success in giving boys feedback and direction in their training programs. Our final reports for the year will be on Pipeline at the beginning of Term 4.
