It was great to see the number of boys and staff
in the extensive holiday programs we had available. Even during the break, we continue to focus on our whole-of-boy philosophy in
port aimed at encouraging excellence in developing athletes. Thanks to all staff who were involved in organising these programs.

I would particularly like to highlight the coordination between the Sport and Academic departments for our Year 12 boys, who were given a training schedule that allowed them to train each morning prior to their practice exams.

The second round of Mind Body Heart testing was completed in the final week of Term 2, and results will be available on Pipeline this week. As we collect more data on the physical improvements that our boys are making, it will be interesting to see how this correlates to improvements academically.

With only four weeks remaining in the
port season, it is great to have a number of teams in contention for top places in the GPS competitions. If any teachers have not yet fulfilled their sport requirement for this year, I will be reaching out during the next few weeks to determine
port options to be involved in. If anyone has a particular interest in any sport please contact me.
