CIS Athletics Champions
Twenty boys from the Athletics team competed at the Combined independent Schools Athletics Championships as part of the AAGPS team. The boys gained selection by finishing in the top 3 in an individual event at this years AAGPS Athletics Championship. The boys, currently in their off-season did not disappoint with Leonard King winning the Under 17 100m, Alex Powys winning the U16 Long Jump, Max Hendrie winning the Open Shot Put and Campbell Pert winning the U14 High Jump with an impressive leap of 1.67 meters, breaking the CIS record. Also impressive on the day was Jasper Kloster who medalled in the 90m Hurdles, Remy Kidd who medalled in the Shot Put and Hayden Fleming who picked up a medal in the 1500m. I would also like to congratulate the Glengarry boys, George Steele-Park, Charlie Burnett and Daniel Parras who managed outstanding performance following a four day hike and all of the distance boys who crossed over from the Cross Country season to manage some outstanding performances on the track. Congratulations boys on an outstanding CIS Championship!
