Rifle Club Hits the Mark

Rifle Shooting

On Friday 8th March eight students representing The Scots College Rifle Club traveled to Campbell Town Tasmania to compete in the 116th Tasmanian Queens Prize and State titles. Over the next three days they competed in 10 matches shooting at 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 yards. This is an open competition and is attended by representatives from all states.

Also Jock Bush, Tom Hickman, Max Lloyd selected as members of the City of Sydney Under 25 Team to compete in April.

The boys conduct on and off the range was a credit to the College. Steve Negus, Australia’s No 1 shooter paid credit to the boys in his presentation speech commenting on their performance and behavior during the competition.
