Sydney Interschool Snowsports Championships

The Sydney Interschool Snowsports Championships were held in Perisher during the school holidays. Another extraordinary team effort resulted in winning the Schools’ Championship trophy returning to Bellevue Hill for the 13th time.

Scots teams won 12 of the 15 events at the Championships. A new record has been set for the number individual champions at the Sydney Regional level. Scots boys won gold in 14 of the 15 events at the Championships. Final score for the top three schools: Scots 169, Redlands 123 and St Ignatius College 111.

Congratulations to all the boys on the team for their outstanding performance.

- Lee Garner, SX Division 1 and Snowboard Division 1 – Angus Bolles, Boarder Cross Division 1 – Jim Matheson, Moguls Division 1 – Sacha Wittock, Alpine Division 1 – Max Hough, Skiercross and Alpine Division 2 – Andrew Richardson, Boarder Cross and Snowboard Division 2 – Josh Stevens, Snowboard, Boarder Cross, Alpine and Skiercross Division 3 – Jack Adams, Moguls Division 3.

In The Scots College Ski and Snowboard Championships, the following individuals achieved:

- Lee Garner, Alpine and Snowboard Division 1 Champion – Max Hough, Alpine Division 2 Champion – Josh Stevens, Alpine and Snowboard Division 3 Champion.

In the Redlands Cup, the following individuals achieved:

- Max Hough, Alpine Division 2 Champion, Redlands Cup winner for the fastest racer overall – Jack Adams, Alpine Division 3 Champion.
